Visitor visa (subclass 600) / Tourist stream (apply outside Australia) This visa stream lets you visit Australia as a tourist, to go on a cruise or to visit family and friends.

Documents Required

1. Provide the pages of your current passport showing your photo, personal details and passport issue and expiry dates.

2. Family register issued less than three months ago.

3. proof you have enough money for your stay and to leave Australia, such as: a. personal bank statements for a 3 Month period

b. pay slips

c. audited accounts

d. tax records

e. term deposits

f. credit card statements

4. a letter from your relative or friend in Australia, inviting you to visit. The letter could state:

a. their relationship to you

b. the purpose of your visit and length of stay
c. if you will be staying with them If this person will be paying for your stay, provide proof of their funds.

5. proof that you have reasons to return home such as:

a. a letter from your employer stating you plan to return to your job

b. proof that you study at a school, college or university in your home country c. proof that you have immediate family members in your home country

d. proof that you can return home

e. proof that you own a house or other major assets in your home country

6. You will need to provide your biometrics at an Australian biometrics Collection Centre
